Q3 was a busy quarter at The BAM Companies, with opportunities to connect as a team, give back to our communities, and celebrate the people who make our company what it is. From a friendly game of kickball to our annual BAMCon, here are a few highlights from the quarter.
BAM Kickball
The team at headquarters kicked off Q3 with a game of kickball on July 22 at Northview Church in Carmel. The afternoon was filled with laughs, a few big kicks, and maybe some sore muscles the next day. Whether playing on the field or cheering from the sidelines, everyone helped make it a fun afternoon outside the office.
Supporting Firefly Children & Family Alliance
Q3 brought several opportunities to support Firefly Children & Family Alliance and its work with local children and families. Our team collected school supplies for the back-to-school drive to help students start the school year prepared.
In August, we volunteered at Firefly Day at the Indiana State Fair, helping run activity tents and games while sharing more about Firefly’s work in the community. We also attended a fundraising dinner celebrating the organization’s 175th anniversary and highlighting its history and impact over the years.
We partnered with Firefly to help get 21 Flats up and running, an Indianapolis housing development that provides housing and supportive services for young adults transitioning out of the foster care system.
We’re grateful to work with Firefly and be part of the important work they do for local children and families.
Celebrating Our Interns
On July 31, we celebrated our interns with lunch and a round of putt-putt at Birdies Grill House and Sports Bar in Westfield, recognizing their hard work and contributions over the summer. We’re excited to see where their careers take them.
Celebrating Five Years with BAM: Suit Fittings
At The BAM Companies, employees celebrating their five-year anniversary receive a suit to mark the milestone. This quarter, several team members came in for their suit fittings.
Congratulations to Christian Bradley, Joe Thayer, Danny Stahl, Greg Sylvester, Brody Correa, Kurt Waddelow, and Kenny Cole on reaching five years with the company. We’re grateful for their hard work and the experience they bring to the team.
Positive Impact Fridays (PIF)
On the last Friday of each month, team members at our properties and headquarters take part in Positive Impact Fridays (PIF). These gatherings give everyone a chance to share something positive happening in their personal or professional lives and recognize a coworker who has made a difference.
PIF is a way to celebrate wins, show appreciation, and build connections across the company.
BAMCon 2026
Nearly 200 employees at The BAM Companies gathered at the Marriott Indianapolis North on September 30 and October 1 for our annual BAMCon, our yearly all-hands meeting. With employees joining from different offices and markets, the event offered a chance to catch up with coworkers and connect with colleagues they may not see every day.
The conference featured guest speakers, company updates, a C-Suite Q&A, and breakout sessions covering AI, communication, wellness, and professional development. Team members shared ideas, learned from one another, and explored ways to grow in their roles.
